Something & SonPaul Smyth and Andrew Merritt the owners and founders of FARM: and creators of FARM:shop. In recent years the duo have turned a car into a park, launched a new spa brand and give lectures around the world on the future of food and urban farming.
They have experiencing managing large budgets, building teams and running profitable businesses. They are passionate about food and sustainabiity and on a journey to FARM:London. Prior to founding FARM: for four years Paul worked as an engineer and sustainability consultant and Andy worked as a graphic designer and artist. Lisa Ommanney - Business ManagementJonny Anstead - Property and planningJonny Anstead specialises in sustainable and regenerative built environment projects and has particular expertise in large-scale sustainable property developments.
Jonny worked from 2005 to 2012 for Beyond Green, leading the establishment of the company’s property development arm. In this time he undertook complex land assembly for two large urban extension projects and helped develop proposals for these. During his time at Beyond Green and prior to that at Locum Consulting, he worked on a number of community and stakeholder engagement projects. Jonny is a professional member of the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community and has worked since late 2011 providing development advice on several Neighbourhood Planning projects across the UK. Alongside his experience of the built environment, Jonny also has knowledge of small business, social enterprise, franchising and online/offline retail, having established a successful Christmas tree franchise operating across four UK towns and cities.
